Creche Program Launched

We have been working in two village creches (nursery schools) for a few months now. These creches had no toys or educational items for the children before, and the young children just lay around on the floor waiting for the midday meal. Now they do lots of activities and have come to life. We are getting many positive reactions from the parents, and eight more villages have asked us to teach the carers to follow the same program.

The generator for the nursery was under the stairs where the diesel fumes blew right into the nursery. It is now housed on the roof in a specially built room.

We always enjoy accompanying the toddlers at the Mercy Home for their evening walk. And we are encouraged to see how much English they have learned! Here is Lex with his little friends.
